To Muhammad ‘Ali and Muhammad Taqi Nizam Mafi
The first part is addressed to Muhammad ‘Ali and Muhammad Taqi Nizam Mafi; the writer asks the date of their return to Iran. S/he also talks about ‘Abbas Mirza and his charm; the second part or the second letter (opposite page) is addressed to the two brothers [by their maternal aunt]. She recounts how she had kept their mother's company in shopping for ‘Izzat al-Saltanah's dowry, her attendance at the wedding, and accompanying the bride to her new house.
